Petaluma police are reminding residents to lock their vehicles and roll up the windows after responding to several vehicle burglaries and thefts overnight Sunday and early Monday.

At least five reports were taken from different streets, all within a mile of each other in East Petaluma.

One case involved a locked vehicle in which the owner left the window partially rolled down, police said. The other four vehicles appear to have been left unlocked or the owners were unsure if they had locked them. There were no signs of obvious forced entry.

Reports came from Wren Drive, Daniel Drive, Bordeaux Drive, Granite Valley Way and Fallbrook Lane.

Police remind residents not to leave valuables inside their vehicles and to keep them locked at all times.

No suspects had been identified as of Monday afternoon.

Anyone with information is asked to call Petaluma Police at 778-4373.
