Overturned tanker truck slowed traffic on Calistoga Road

Crews removed an overturned tanker truck that hit a tree from Calistoga Road northeast of Santa Rosa.|

A tanker truck crashed into a tree Monday on Calistoga Road northeast of Santa Rosa, the CHP said.

The semi truck overturned just after 10 a.m. near Gates Road, partially blocked the roadway, according to the CHP incident log.

Sonoma County road officials said that Calistoga Road was blocked while a towing crew arrived and began removing the truck. The road was reopened at about 12:45 p.m.

No injuries were reported.
