SANTA ROSA Woman arrested after 80-mph chase

A Santa Rosa woman was arrested early Wednesday morning after leading officers on a chase through west Santa Rosa in which speeds topped 80 mph, officers said.

Brianna Anguillo, 20, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and evading and resisting arrest, Sgt. Rich Celli said.

Officers followed Anguillo's green sedan as it sped down Guerneville Road near Coddingtown Mall. When they activated their siren and lights, Anguillo tried to flee, police said.

During the 10-minute pursuit, Anguillo failed to stop at several traffic lights and stop signs and drove at speeds of more than 80 mph. The pursuit took place on Guerneville Road, North Dutton Avenue, Sebastopol Road and Fulton Road, police said.

As the vehicle turned south on Lance Drive, officers ran into the side of the sedan, causing it to abruptly turn sideways, collide with a parked car and stop, police said.

The driver remained uncooperative and was arrested after a short struggle. The lone passenger, Felicia Kron, 22, of Lakeport, was treated for minor injuries.
