Driver backs into another vehicle, pins man in Santa Rosa

A man pinned between two vehicles in north Santa Rosa was hospitalized with injuries Monday.|

A man pinned between two vehicles suffered injuries Monday morning and was taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital.

The crash was reported at 11:45 a.m. on Aviation Boulevard in northern Santa Rosa.

Initial reports indicated one vehicle backed into the other, trapping the man, according to initial reports.

Rincon Valley, Santa Rosa firefighters and an ambulance crew responded. A helicopter initially was requested but then was canceled.
