An 18-year-old Santa Rosa man and two 17-year-olds were in custody Tuesday, suspected of walking into a Healdsburg home Monday night and threatening a resident with a gun and demanding money, according to Healdsburg police.

Police suspect the three, one carrying a long gun, entered a Sunnyvale Drive home through an unlocked door about 9:30 p.m. They confronted a resident saying something like “Where’s the money?” Healdsburg Lt. Matt Jenkins said.

When the resident warned the trio he was going to call police, they fled, Jenkins said.

About 11:50 p.m. police were called back to the northern Healdsburg neighborhood, near Byron Gibbs Park, for a report of suspicious activity near a car.

Officers found three males sitting in a vehicle at the park. Items in the vehicle led officers to suspect they were involved in the Sunnyvale Drive crime, Jenkins said.

Isaac Gentile, 18, was booked on suspicion of armed robbery and possessing an illegal weapon - a switchblade - according to jail records. Bail was set at $100,000.

The teens, from Petaluma and Healdsburg, were booked into the county’s juvenile detention center.

Police declined Tuesday night to provide additional information on the arrests.
