Three Santa Rosa residents, including a man police had been seeking for five years, were arrested Wednesday morning as part of a multi-agency drug investigation, police said.

Ranulfo Andres Salgado, 27, and Rogelio Solario Garibay, 51, were arrested when they were driving near Coddingtown Mall early Wednesday morning, said Santa Rosa Sgt. Micheal Chad Heiser.

A third man, Custodio Lugo Delgado, 43, was arrested later Wednesday during the service of a search warrant related to the case.

Salgado was wanted on a warrant from a 2009 Santa Rosa Police Department drug sales case, Heiser said. As a result, Salgado was booked into Sonoma County Jail on a $2 million bond.

After the suspects were arrested, officers from Santa Rosa, the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office and the federal Drug Enforcement Agency served search warrants on two apartments on Range Avenue and a house on Barbara Drive.

About 2.8 pounds of methamphetamine, 1.1 ounces of cocaine, 13.5 pounds of marijuana, 19 marijuana plants, $14,000 and three vehicles were seized. The meth has a street value of about $20,000, Heiser said

Salgado was arrested on suspicion of four counts of possession of a controlled substance for sale, four counts of transportation of a controlled substance, drug dealing in a designated school zone, conspiracy and the felony warrant for narcotics sales.

Garibay was arrested on suspicion of transportation of a controlled substance, drug dealing in a designated school zone and conspiracy. Delgado was arrested on a number of drug charges and is suspected of being armed with a firearm during the commission of a felony.

Six other individuals were released without being arrested.
