CHP: Petaluma woman arrested after driving 110 mph

A Petaluma woman spotted driving 110 mph on Highway 101 was arrested on suspicion of reckless driving and resisting arrest Friday, according to the CHP.

An officer saw a Toyota Solara speed past him headed north near downtown Santa Rosa around 5:41 p.m. and gave chase, officials said.

The car was weaving in and out of lanes and was paced at 110 mph near Shiloh Road, according to the CHP.

After a traffic stop, the officer began placing 21-year-old Michaela Kolodin under arrest. But Kolodin twisted free of the officer and began to struggle with him before being brought under control, the CHP said.
