Petaluma police are seeking a vandal who tagged 12 businesses, three vehicles and several street signs during a Saturday downtown graffiti attack.

The tagger's spraypainted message was “FURY,” “CRUEL” and “FTW,” according to police. The brief spree started about 2 a.m. Saturday primarily along East Washington Street between Water Street and Kenilworth Drive.

Surveillance cameras from one of the vandalized businesses captured images of a male in a dark-colored, hooded sweatshirt with stripes on the front, dark pants and dark tennis shoes with white soles, police said.

Police released three photos and asked anyone with information to contact Community Service Officer Kim Mota at 707-781-1243.
