Three couples said “I do” in front of hundreds of people at Old Courthouse Square, adding a new dimension to the Wednesday Night Market in downtown Santa Rosa.

The newlyweds, Larisa Ashley and Noah Gunnell, from left, Amber and Gabe Tansey, and Roxanna and Brandon Ashby, were cheered by their friends, family and complete strangers as they kissed their new spouses at the conclusion of the nuptials.

Santa Rosa Mayor Chris Coursey and City Councilman Jack Tibetts led the nondenominational ceremony that started at 7 p.m.

The three couples married on the footprint of the Old Courthouse, the same spot where couples got hitched throughout the decades when the courthouse was still standing.
