Ukiah police have arrested a man on suspicion of molesting at least two girls and are asking for the public’s help identifying additional victims.

Police last week launched an investigation into Jaime Barajas, 36, of Ukiah, after someone reported he’d molested a 14-year-old girl. During the investigation, police said they discovered there had been other molestation victims, including a 13-year-old, over a period of time.

Barajas was arrested in Redwood Valley Friday on a warrant and booked into the Mendocino County jail. Emergency protective orders also were served, prohibiting him from having contact with the victims, police said.

Anyone with information about the alleged incidents is encouraged to contact the Ukiah Police Department at 707-463-6262.
