Masked man robs Sonoma bank

A masked man robbed a Sonoma bank Tuesday afternoon, according to a Sonoma County sheriff’s official.|

A masked man robbed a Sonoma bank Tuesday afternoon, according to a Sonoma County sheriff’s official.

Police and Sonoma County sheriff’s deputies were looking for the man who walked out of a Rabobank on Broadway just after noon, apparently with cash taken from the bank.

The robber was described as Latino, between 30 and 35 years old and about 5 feet 10 inches tall. He was wearing a long-sleeved, olive green T-shirt with a dark design of wings and stars. He also wore baggy jeans, a dark-colored baseball cap and a black mesh mask over his face.

No weapon was used in the robbery, according to a news release.

Sheriff’s officials asked anyone with information to call 911.
