New administrator named for Sonoma County courts

The court's newest hire has more than 20 years of management experience in the public and private sectors, most recently in Alameda County.|

Sonoma County courts will have a new top administrator starting Oct. 2.

Arlene Junior, civil division manager at Alameda County Superior Court, will replace Jose Guillen, who retired as the court’s executive officer earlier this year.

Junior has more than 20 years of management experience in the public and private sectors including work in Texas courts, according to a statement from presiding Judge Raima Ballinger.

She will oversee 190 court employees and a $29 million annual budget. Her salary information was not released.

Guillen was paid $192,000 a year.
