Local and international bodybuilders turned out Saturday in Rohnert Park to compete in the National Gym Association’s Natural Olympian Pro/Am Competition, marking a California debut for the organization, which first got its start in 1986 as a way to promote drug-free strength training. Ten competitors in all vied for the top title in the bodybuilding, physique, figure and bikini contests held at the Spreckels Performing Arts Center.“It was so close,” organizer Laura Gray said of the competition, which featured athletes from as far away as South Korea. “They looked so amazing. It was a really, really great show.”
