River Road collision sends three to hospital

A head-on collision on River Road by Hacienda Bridge Saturday evening sent three people to the hospital.|

A head-on collision Saturday evening between a car and a pickup truck on River Road just east of the Hacienda Bridge sent three people to the hospital, according to Redcom County Fire Dispatch.

The 6:30 p.m. crash was between a Toyota pickup heading west and an eastbound Honda sedan, said firefighter Tim Acker of Cal Fire Cazadero, which responded to the scene along with Forestville, Graton and Russian River fire departments.

The man driving the pickup and both women in the sedan were taken to the hospital with moderate, nonthreatening injuries.
