Santa Rosa police seek armed suspect in beauty supply store robbery

A gunman robbed a beauty supply shop at the Santa Rosa Marketplace shopping center just before noon, escaping with an undisclosed amount of money, Santa Rosa police said.

The suspect confronted a cashier, pulling a handgun out of a plastic bag at the Sally Beauty store on Santa Rosa Avenue, police said.

He’s described as a white male in his 30s, wearing a green baseball hat, green buttoned-down shirt and dark colored shorts.
