The Friends of Santa Rosa Libraries will hold its fall book sale this weekend at the Santa Rosa Veterans Memorial Building.

The Fall Book Faire will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and Sunday, and from 1 to 5 p.m. on Monday, when bags of books will be sold for $5 each. Thousands of donated hardcover and paperback books will be on sale, as well as books on tape, movies and CDs.

Hardcover books will cost $2, while paperbacks are $1. On Sunday, items will be half price. Only cash or checks will be accepted.

About 2,000 people are expected to attend the Friends of Santa Rosa Libraries book sale. It’s a major fundraiser for the all-volunteer nonprofit, which supports the Central, Rincon Valley, Northwest, Roseland Community and the History and Genealogy libraries.
