Two injured in Highway 101 crash in Petaluma

A two-vehicle crash on southbound Highway 101 in Petaluma early Tuesday blocked a highway lane and an ambulance took two to a Petaluma hospital.|

A two-vehicle crash on southbound Highway 101 in Petaluma early Tuesday blocked a highway lane and an ambulance took two to a Petaluma hospital.

Callers reported the collision at 7:33 a.m., just south of East Washington Street. Initial CHP reports said an Acura Integra collided with a truck.

Commute traffic was slowed to a crawl around the crash as one of the vehicles partially blocked a lane.

Two people were taken for medical attention but fire officials said the injuries appeared to be minor.
