Big rig overturns on Lakeville Highway exit off Highway 101 in Petaluma

The Petaluma exit will likely remain closed until afternoon.|

An overturned big rig closed the Lakeville Highway exit off Highway 101 north in Petaluma Thursday morning. The exit will likely not reopen until 1:30 p.m., said CHP Officer Steve Fricke.

The tractor trailer rolled onto its side around 6:37 a.m. as the driver attempted to navigate the 180-degree loop connecting the two highways, Fricke said. The driver was not injured.
