Lake County sheriff’s detectives are searching for the husband of a 51-year-old Upper Lake woman found dead Monday.

Cindi Henry’s body was found by family members at her Elliot Street home, sheriff’s officials said Tuesday. Officials didn’t release a possible cause of death or any details about the scene at the home, but they called the death suspicious.

An autopsy was scheduled for Wednesday.

Her husband, Bill Morton Henry, 64, may be the last person to have seen her alive, officials said. He was last seen by family between Saturday evening and early Sunday.

As of Tuesday his location wasn’t known, sheriff’s Lt. Corey Paulich said.

“We’re trying to locate the husband because he most likely was the last person to see her alive and he and his vehicle are missing,” Paulich said in an email. “We have put a Be On the Lookout for the husband and his vehicle.”

The man was believed to be driving a dark gray Ford Focus sedan with a license plate 6ZSU874.

Anyone with information about the man or his car should call sheriff’s dispatchers at 707-263-2690.
