Police are searching for a man suspected of robbing a Santa Rosa restaurant on Sunday afternoon.

Shortly before 1 p.m., a man armed with a handgun walked up to one of the cashiers at Round Table Pizza at 1791 Marlow Road, Santa Rosa police said.

The suspect pulled out his weapon, demanded cash and then reached over the counter, pulling out money from the cash drawer before running out of the building, police said. Police searched the area but couldn't find the suspect.

He was described as a white man wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark jeans and a blue bandana over his face.

The Sonoma County Alliance is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the robbery suspect.
