The 13½-acre fire, which was first reported at ?1:35 p.m. Thursday, was mostly contained as of Friday morning, Cal Fire said.

The blaze burning in steep, grassy woodland terrain forced the evacuation of residents from about ?12 homes south of Madrona Knolls Road for several hours Thursday.
