Share your reaction to California's new vaccine law.

Starting next year, California will impose one of the strictest school vaccination laws in the nation, requiring nearly all public and private schoolchildren to be vaccinated. The law eliminates California's personal belief exemption for immunizations but would still medical exemptions for children with serious health issues.

Sonoma, Mendocino and Marin counties have been a hotbed of debate about the legislation, with some schools in the region recording some of the lowest immunization rates in the state.
