Bodega Highway rollover crash hurts one

The pickup landed on its roof, about 20 feet off the rural highway, according to initial CHP reports.|

The CHP is investigating a Tuesday morning rollover crash off Bodega Highway that injured one.

A truck driver ran off the rural highway near Joy Road about 9:50 a.m., according to an initial CHP report. The vehicle landed on its roof about 20 feet off the roadway, but wasn’t blocking the lanes.

The man driving the truck was out of the wreckage when help arrived. He was taken by ambulance to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.

Joy Road meets Bodega Highway between the communities of Bodega and Freestone.
