A Texas restaurant technology supplier is moving aggressively into the wine industry, announcing a pair of deals this week to acquire two prominent winery e-commerce firms, ?eWinery Solutions in Napa and WineWeb Enterprises in Santa Fe, N.M.

The buyer, Granbury Solutions, entered the sector in 2013 with its acquisition of WineWare Software in Paso Robles and is now expanding its wine technology holdings. On Monday, it completed its acquisition of eWinery Solutions, which provides e-commerce, wine club, wine production and point-of-sale software to more than 500 wineries.

“We see this merger as a great step forward for our company and our clients,” eWinery CEO Richard Kline said in a statement. “Joining forces with Granbury will enable us to combine forces to provide more innovative solutions faster to a larger set of wineries.”

Kline, who founded the Napa company in 2003, will now serve as general manager of Granbury’s Winery Business Unit.

On Wednesday, Granbury purchased WineWeb Enterprises, which provides a winery e-commerce platform with integrated website management, customer relationship management, wine club and point-of-sale service to more than 300 wineries.

Financial terms of both acquisitions were not disclosed.

Based in Grapevine, Texas, Granbury Solutions provides point-of-sales services and software support to 10,000 restaurants and retailers.

It was formed in 2010 with the acquisition of five technology companies that serve the restaurant and hospitality industry.
