SAN FRANCISCO - Through one half, the 49ers' new-and-improved offense showed some glimpses Sunday afternoon under the direction of coordinator Mike Martz in the season opener.
Oh, sure, there were three turnovers in the opening 30 minutes - a constant in Martz's offenses through the years.
