Domaine Chandon
(1 vote)
This historically significant winery is also one of the most visited in Napa. Producing American sparkling wine since 1973, Domaine Chandon was the first California winery built by a French champagne house--in this case, Moet & Chandon.
Seeking to reinvigorate its image, the winery has added a hip new tasting lounge inside etoile, the winery's high-end restaurant. From 6pm to last call, the lounge turns nightclub with sparkling wine cocktails and sips from Chandon's sister wineries in New Zealand and Argentina.
If you're looking for a more relaxed daytime experience, check out the tasting salon or outdoor patio for a glass of bubbly. Don't miss the still wines from the winery's famed Carneros property.
Art installations are scattered around the property, so keep your eyes peeled. Don't miss the hundreds of illuminated green bottles that undulate along the entrance walls.
