January to March: Petaluma Bounty Penny Harvest, a children’s penny collecting program. Benefits Petaluma People Services Center, www.petalumapeople.org.

Feb. 6: Great Sonoma Crab and Wine Fest: In its 27th year. Held at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds in the Grace Pavilion. $75 individual. $950-$2,500 for tables of 10. Benefits Sonoma County Farm Bureau, www.sonomafb.org

Feb. 6: Heart Gala: A black and white ball will be held at the Mary Agatha Furth Center in Windsor. Tickets start at $125 and range up to $1,200 for a table of eight. Benefits Legal Aid of Sonoma County, www.legalaidsc.org.
