President Obama is calling birthday boy Stephen Curry the "greatest shooter I've ever seen."

Obama complimented the star Warriors point guard, who turned 28 Monday, during a sit-down conversation for Time magazine alongside American Ballet Theater's principal dancer Misty Copeland.

"Steph Curry is the greatest shooter that I've ever seen. You knew I had an opinion on this. I am having more fun watching him that anybody since Michael Jordan," said Obama, remarking on the Feb. 27 game against the Oklahoma City Thunder in which Curry scored 46 points and tied the NBA record of 12 three-pointers in a single game.

But, don't ask Obama, a former Chicago resident known for pickup games at the White House with some of the league's biggest stars, to call Golden State's golden boy better than Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan. “Even Steph wouldn't necessarily say he's better than Jordan,” Obama said.

Obama, continung to heap on the praise finished with, "It's rare where you get somebody who's already at the pinnacle and then they take it another notch higher. And he's a wonderful young man. He's a lot of run."
