OAKLAND - Warriors guard Stephen Curry is expected to play in Game 3 of the Western Conference finals against the Oklahoma City Thunder despite suffering a swollen right elbow.

There were no plans to have the elbow drained as it showed improvement and received treatment the day after the MVP hit it on a metal platform in Game 2, according to the team.

“Not today,” Warriors general manager Bob Myers told 95.7 The Game when asked if Curry needed to have the elbow drained. “I just saw him today a little while ago, and it didn’t seem like anything crazy.”
