ANAHEIM - Khris Davis hit a tiebreaking three-run homer in the eighth inning and the Oakland Athletics beat the Los Angeles Angels 7-4 on Friday night.

Eric Surkamp's night ended even earlier as he gave up four runs, two earned, and five hits in 32/3 innings. He is still looking for his first major league win.
