Warriors' Klay Thompson is coming through in a big way for Northern California fire victims, donating a total of $69,000 to the North Bay Fire Relief fund through his "Points with Purpose" campaign.

The guard, who had pledged $1,000 for each point he made during the team's last three home games, finished Sunday's loss to the Pistons 115-107 with 29 points, meaning $29,000 was added to his fundraising efforts.

He came away with 22 points again the Raptors on Wednesday and 18 points again the Wizards on Friday, totaling $40,000.

The fund was established by the Press Democrat, Redwood Credit Union and state Sen. Mike McGuire.

Donations can still be made at www.redwoodcu.org/northbayfirerelief.
