BERKELEY — Asha Thomas made two free throws to give Cal the lead with 32 seconds left and the Golden Bears held on for a 78-76 victory over Colorado on Friday night.

After Thomas' free throws put Cal ahead 77-76, Colorado's Alexis Robinson missed a 3-pointer with six seconds remaining and Cal's Mikayla Cowling grabbed the rebound, was fouled and made a free throw.

Thomas finished with 18 points, Cowling 17, Kristine Anigwe 14 and Penina Davidson 10 with nine rebounds for Cal (16-8, 7-6 Pac-12), which dropped out of the Top 25 this week after three straight losses to ranked teams.

Zoe Correal scored 20 points, Robinson 19 and Kennedy Leonard 16 with nine assists for the Buffaloes (12-12, 3-10), who have lost eight of their last nine games.

Neither team had a double-digit lead in a game with 15 ties and 14 lead changes.
