SRJC football falls to Fresno City College 31-10

Trey McJunkin passed for 122 yards and two scores as Fresno City College’s football team rolled past Santa Rosa Junior College 31-10 on Saturday in Santa Rosa.

Kaylor Sullivan was 19-of-27 passing for 169 yards, including a four-yard score to Jacoby Ceasor in the first quarter.

Jordan Brookshire led the Bear Cubs with 19 yards rushing, and was also 8-of-21 passing for 30 yards. LaRenzo Sterling had two catches for 68 yards. Rodson Kealchi had a team-high seven catches for 23 yards.

Khai Williams had 113 yards rushing and a touchdown for the Rams (2-0), who amassed 424 yards of total offense and won despite committing 13 penalties for 208 yards.

The Rams broke the game open with a 17-point third quarter, capped by Nick Chambers returning a fumble by Sterling 25 yards for the score.

The Bear Cubs travel to Stockton this week to play San Joaguin Delta.
