CSA BOXES HAVE SPOT AT HARVEST FAIR

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)|

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) farmers can win cash prizes by entering their delivery produce boxes into a new competition at this year's Sonoma County Harvest Fair.

The fair also will judge lug boxes of fruits or vegetables submitted by farmers, community garden groups and families.

Those are just two of the many judging categories detailed in Harvest Fair guidebooks, now available at the fair entry office, local libraries and chambers of commerce and online at harvestfair.org.

The deadline to submit entries online is Sept. 26, while paper entries must be postmarked by Sept. 21.

The 2012 Harvest Fair will be Oct. 5-7 at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds.
