Healdsburg police seek hit-and-run driver
Healdsburg police are looking for a driver in a red car who struck an elderly bicyclist last week and didn’t stop.
The rider, an 80-year-old man from Healdsburg, was hit while traveling on Matheson Street at University Street about 3:10 p.m. Wednesday, according to police.
The man was taken to a hospital with injuries but Healdsburg police released no further details.
Officials are asking anyone with information to help identify the driver of an older model red car with a broken passenger side mirror. Call investigating Detectives Van Vleck and Dean at 707-433-3377.
