Man arrested outside Petaluma bar in assault on bartender
A 21-year-old man was arrested Tuesday night on suspicion of assaulting a bartender outside Buffalo Billiards in Petaluma after he was denied service, authorities said.
The 35-year-old female bartender refused to serve Andres Robledo of Santa Rosa because he was intoxicated, the Petaluma Police Department said in a statement.
Robledo waited outside the Petaluma Boulevard bar for the bartender and began punching her in the face and the head shortly after 10:30 p.m., police said.
She was knocked to the ground during the assault, officers said, and Robledo continued kicking her in the face, bruising her forehead and nose.
Several patrons were able to subdue Robledo before officers arrived at the scene and arrested him, police said.
Robledo was arrested on complaints of battery and public intoxication, police said.

In the North Coast, we are surrounded by hundreds of wineries along with some of the best breweries, cidermakers and distillers. These industries produce an abundance of drinks as well as good stories – and those are what I’m interested in writing. I also keep my eye on our growing cannabis industry and other agricultural crops, which have provided the backbone for our food-and-wine culture for generations.
