Motorcyclist suffers major injuries in Highway 1 crash

A motorcyclist suffered major injuries in an accident Sunday afternoon along the Sonoma Coast.

The accident occurred just before 2 p.m. on Annapolis Road near Highway 1, north of the Sea Ranch Lodge, according to the CHP. A passerby reported seeing the rider on the roadway.

The motorcyclist was airlifted to a hospital, CHP officials said. No other details were available.
