Marcus Benedetti has been elected to the board of directors for Truett-Hurst Inc., the Healdsburg-based winery that had its initial public offering in June 2013.

Benedetti is president and CEO of Petaluma-based Clover Stornetta Farms, the milk and dairy products manufacturer and distributor. Benedetti also serves as a board member of the Association of Independent Dairies of America, the Dairy Institute of California, and as an honorary advisory board member for the UC Davis Agriculture Sustainability Institute, Community Foundation of Sonoma County and Social Advocates for Youth.


Cheri Lieurance has been hired by the Santa Rosa-based Council on Aging to serve as marketing coordinator, overseeing promotion of the nonprofit’s 16 programs serving seniors.

Lieurance will also help with publicity for the Sonoma Wine Country Games, for athletes 50 years old and above, and for the council’s line of gourmet ready-made meals.

Lieurance previously worked as a marketing associate for O’Reilly Media. She has a background in public relations, marketing, and journalism.


John Petersen has been named the new executive director of Audubon Canyon Ranch, the 52-year-old nonprofit land protection group with sites in Sonoma and Marin counties. Petersen, a biologist, has been with the organization since 1987, most recently serving as its acting executive director.


Exchange Bank has hired Jason Hinde to be vice president and relationship manager in its commercial banking group. Hinde held similar positions previously in commercial banking at Mechanics Bank, where he worked with wineries, grape growers and real estate investors. Exchange Bank also named Rick Gorman to be vice president of and manager of the Petaluma main branch. Steve Schofield has been named vice president and manager of the Reinking branch in Santa Rosa’s Montgomery Village. Patti Mannatt has been promoted to vice president and manager of the Healdsburg branch. She previously was branch services manager in Cloverdale. Leslie Palmieri has been promoted to branch services manager of the Cloverdale branch.


Rose Rosen has been promoted to senior branch office administrator at the Sonoma branch of Edward Jones, the financial services firm. The post involves oversight of the office’s daily operations, including client service, marketing activities and technological needs. Rosen has been with Edward Jones for the past 10 years.
