Best-paying jobs in America according to Glassdoor

With living costs and home prices on the rise, the hunt to find a successful, fulfilling and well-paying career is more crucial than ever.

Glassdoor, a company and job review website, recently released a list of the “50 Best Jobs in America” which ranks jobs according to the number of openings, salary and overall employee satisfaction.

Tech-related jobs dominated the list, with data scientists earning a top ten spot for the third consecutive year. Human resources also earned a top spot for the third year in a row.

The median based salary is accumulated from across the United States and is only an estimate, not a specific region where salaries can vary. (So Bay Area salaries tend to be a bit higher than on this list.)

For a job to be considered for the list, it must have received at least 100 salary reports and 100 job satisfaction ratings by U.S.-based employees over the past year on glassdoor.com.
