Ted DeHaan has been named general manager at M.A. Silva USA, a Santa Rosa maker of corks, glass and packaging. In the last 15 years, he has held such positions as quality manager, category sales director and general manager in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, spirits, beer and wine packaging industries.


Deanna Schutz has been hired as an external mortgage loan officer for Santa Rosa-based Redwood Credit Union. She previously served as branch manager of First Community Bank in Santa Rosa and as assistant vice president, branch manager, operations manager and utility branch officer for Summit State Bank in Santa Rosa.


Michael K. Moberly has joined Morgan Stanley’s wealth management office in Santa Rosa as a vice president, financial advisor and certified financial planner. He has 18 years of experience in the financial services industry and formerly served eight years with Wells Fargo Advisors.


Henry Perez is the new director of engineering for Loring, a Santa Rosa maker of commercial coffee roasters, accessories and software. He has more than 30 years of experience in both engineering and management. He began his career at IBM, and went on to hold such roles as engineering manager at General Dynamics, director of technology at the EcoGreen Group, director of manufacturing engineering at Western Digital, director of engineering at Seagate Technology and operating manager at Agilent Technologies.


Alicia L. Durand has been appointed in-house counsel and manager of corporate compliance at Optio Solutions, an accounts receivable management firm in Petaluma. She previously served more than eight years in various positions at the Sonoma County Office of the District Attorney, most recently as a deputy district attorney in the misdemeanor unit.


C.J. Rico has been hired to manage North Bay properties for Starboard Commercial Real Estate, a privately owned San Francisco commercial real estate firm that has expanded to this region. A senior sales and leasing specialist, he has more than 10 years of experience and previously worked at Keegan & Coppin, where he leased and sold 500,000 square feet of commercial properties.


John C. Erickson has joined the board of directors for Santa Rosa-based Luther Burbank Savings. He has more than three decades of financial services experience and most recently served as president of consumer banking and president, California, for CIT Group, Inc.
