Two 'American Idol' contestants and the Southern California band War are among the musicians headed to the Sonoma County Fair stage.|

When: Aug. 3-13. Gates open daily 11 a.m.-9 p.m.

You’ll find live music on several stages every day at the Sonoma County Fair, featuring not only local and regional bands, but also national acts, as part of the “Headlining Concert Series.”

The concerts are included in the price of fair admission and will be held in the Community Theater at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds. These shows start at 7:30 p.m.

Optional ticket pages with reserved seating are available with most of the shows for $32, or $60 including dinner.

This year’s headliners are:

Aug. 3 - The Marshall Tucker Band, Southern rockers known for hits including “Heard It In a Love Song,” “Fire On The Mountain,” “Can’t You See,” “Take The Highway” and “Desert Skies.”

Aug. 5 - Life in The Fast Lane: Eagles Tribute, a live show with musicians recreating hits by the Eagles, including “Take It Easy,” “Lyin’ Eyes,” “Heartache Tonight,” “Tequila Sunrise” and “Hotel California.”

Aug. 7 - Lauren Alaina, country singer from Rossville, Georgia, and runner-up on the 10th season of “American Idol.” Her second album, “Road Less Traveled,” was released earlier this year.

Aug. 8 - Foghat, English blues and boogie rockers known for “Slow Ride” and “I Just Want to Make Love to You.”

Aug. 9 - WAR, the ensemble known for hits including “Low Rider,” “Why Can’t We Be Friends” and “Cisco Kid,” blending a wide range of musical styles, including funk, Latin, rock, reggae, jazz, and rhythm and blues.

Aug. 10 - The Fab Four: The Ultimate Tribute, a look-alike quartet that brings the Beatles’ hits to life, including “Can’t Buy Me Love,” “Yesterday,” “A Day In The Life,” “Twist And Shout,” “Here Comes The Sun” and “Hey Jude.”

Aug. 12 - Trent Harmon, winner of the 15th and final season of the original run of “American Idol” in 2016, remembered for his finale performance of “Falling.”
