Lighting of the Snowmen at Cornerstone Sonoma

Hunter Ham, 18-months, of Sonoma, examining one of the lit snowmen during the Annual Lighting of the Snowmen Festival held Saturday at Cornerstone on Arnold Drive in Sonoma. Several hundred attendees enjoyed ice skating, hot chocolate, food trucks and walking through a field of 200 lit snowman wearing yellow hard hats to represent the rebuilding of Sonoma County after the recent fires. The festival began in 2004 when Artefact Design & Salvage owner David Allen bought hundreds of decorative snowmen from a Boston factory going out of business. Proceeds from tonight's event will go towards Redwood Credit Union North Bay Fire Relief Fund. December 2, 2017. (Photo: Erik Castro/for The Press Democrat)
