Elizabeth Briggs Mullen and Sean Daniel Harrell were married by Father Sean Rogers at Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church in Healdsburg on Sept. 19, 2015. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert W. Mullen, Jr. of Healdsburg, formerly of Bronxville, N.Y. Her mother is a community volunteer and member of the Healdsburg AAUW. Her father, who is retired, was a senior partner at the law firm Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy in New York where he practiced securities law for 34 years.

The bride is a graduate of Princeton University, earning her degree cum laude in History, and she received a Master’s in Business Administration from Stanford University. Presently she is a Senior Financial Analyst for the Premium Wine Division of E & J Gallo Winery in Healdsburg. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. Peter Slusser who own and operate the Slusser Ranch in Windsor. The bride is the great-great-great granddaughter of George Guerne who founded a lumber mill in 1867 and for whom the town of Guerneville was named, and Levi Samuel Bacon Slusser, who arrived in Sonoma County in 1846. The bride’s great-great-grandfather, Ney Donovan, was the original owner of the Santa Rosa fairgrounds.

Sean is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel S. Harrell, of Healdsburg. His mother is a sales manager for Crocodile Bay Resort. She retired from Lucky Supermarkets after 38 years. His father is a union carpenter specializing in public works projects in the San Francisco Bay Area.

The bridegroom graduated from Sonoma State University with a degree in Geography. The bridegroom is now a financial adviser in Santa Rosa for Merrill Lynch. Previously, he was a fly fishing guide and resort manager in Alaska, Belize and Costa Rica.
