Lonely Planet unveils top 10 travel regions for 2018

The travel company is out with the far-flung spots you'll want to put on your travel bucket list next year.|

2017 is coming to a close and let's be honest, you've probably spent the majority of the year daydreaming about escaping to an exotic beach locale or traversing rugged terrain in some remote country.

The travel experts at Lonely Planet spent their year doing the same. The travel company recently unveiled their 'best in travel' locations for 2018. The bucket list of top ten regions to explore is a revelation for anyone with an adventurous spirit.

Lonely Planet spanned the globe from the northernmost part of Ireland's coast, to a tropical forest in the Dominican Republic and virtually everywhere in between.

Daydreaming about travel is easy, finding the perfect travel destination is the hard part.
