Village Bakery moving into Michelle Marie's Patisserie space in Santa Rosa's Montgomery Village

A popular bakery that got its start in Montgomery Village is going back to its roots.|

Village Bakery of the Town & Country center in Santa Rosa and also The Barlow in Sebastopol is called Village Bakery because it started out long ago at Montgomery Village.

Guess what: it's coming back.

Owner Pat Lum intends by mid-February to open a new bakery cafe where Michelle Marie's Patisserie used to be.

Lum said the bakery at Town & Country will close and be replaced by a sales kiosk inside the neighboring Pacific Market.
