Crab feeds in Sonoma County 2019

All-you-can-eat crab feeds are in full swing around Sonoma County, delivering fresh, steaming seafood, music, dancing and more.

Forestville:

Jan. 26: Russian River Rotary 32nd Annual Crab Feed. Dubbed “The Greatest Crab Feed on Earth,” Russian River Rotary's annual crab fest boasts a great wine bar, music performers, live and silent auctions, and desserts by El Molino High School's culinary program. The crab feed takes place on Santa Rosa Junior College's Shone Farm from 4:30-9 p.m. Tickets can be purchased from Rotarians and Zephyr Real Estate at 707-869-3865 Ext. 26.

Geyserville:

Jan. 26: Coppola Crab Fest Fundraiser. Starting at 6 p.m., guests will be guided to an upstairs gallery to dine on appetizers and wine and take part in a silent auction before enjoying a family-style crab dinner paired with chardonnay. Proceeds will be donated to the Camp Fire Relief Fund to help those affected by recent California wildfires.

Healdsburg:

Feb. 2: American Legion's Annual Crab Feed. For $65 per ticket, one can enjoy the no-host bar opening at 3 p.m. and all-you-can-eat crab, salad and garlic bread beginning at 4 p.m. at the Villa Chanticleer. Proceeds will benefit scholarships for youths at the Boys State and Girls State summer leadership programs.

Feb. 23: Gary Farrell Vineyard's 13th Annual Crab Dinner. A luxurious evening filled with wine and decadent treats under twinkling lights in Gary Farrell Winery's barrel room costs $200 per person. If you're interested, it's best to RSVP as soon as possible since seats are limited. Enjoy refreshing hors d'oeuvres and Dungeness crab paired with a fine selection of local wines, from 6-9 p.m.

Kenwood:

Feb. 9: Kenwood Firefighter's Association Annual Crab Feed. The Kenwood fire department's major fundraising event of the year will include all-you-can-eat crab, raffle prizes and a silent auction, 5:30-9:30 p.m. First come, first serve general admission tickets are $50 each and are available at the Kenwood Fire Station, Kenwood Press and Kenwood Market.

Monte Rio

Jan. 26: Northwood Men's Golf Club annual crab feed: With a raffle that benefits the Russian River Senior Center, the crab feed at Northwood Restaurant begins at 6 p.m. and costs $55 per person. The fare is cracked Dungeness crab, pasta, salad and bread, plus dessert. The Senior Center receives all proceeds from the raffle, which features both a draw and a silent auction for prizes that include golf gifts, items from local merchants and lots of wine.

Petaluma:

Jan. 26: Boys & Girls Club of Central Sonoma County 2019 Crab Feed. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Sonoma County will host its first crab feed of the year in Petaluma's Lucchesi Park Club from 5:30-10 p.m. to support the clubs' afterschool, sports and summer programs. For $75, guests can enjoy auctions, dancing, and, of course, the all-you-can-eat crab dinner, complete with pasta, salad and bread.

Feb. 2: Crab Feed & A Capella Show. Located in the city's Veteran's Memorial Hall, Pacific Empire Chorus's crab feed will feature a live musical performance alongside unlimited crab, fresh pastas from Pasta King, homemade desserts and Lagunitas beer. Tickets for adults are $50 ($60 at the door) and $10 for children 10 and under. The feed and show will be from 5-9 p.m.

Feb. 8: Petaluma Woman's Club All-You-Can-Eat Crab Feed. While this event is already sold out, those who already got their $50 tickets are in for a night of wine, local Dungeness crab with French bread and melted butter, and the club's “Better Than Sex” cake for dessert. An auction will take place after the feed and proceeds will benefit the Petaluma Woman's Club Restoration Fund to help restore historic buildings in Petaluma.

Feb. 9: Sons & Daughters of Italy Petaluma Lodge Crab Feed. Hosted at the Petaluma Community Center near Lucchesi Park, the Sons and Daughters of Italy Annual Crab Feed will include all-you-can-eat, freshly cracked Dungeness crab and a no-host bar for $50 a person. Opening at 5 p.m., the feed will also feature raffles for a large gift basket or a cruise for two to Alaska.

March 2: The WISE Foundation Visions and Vines Crab Feed. This 21-and-over event at the Petaluma Community Center will include dancing, unlimited crab, pasta and salad, raffles, and live and silent auctions to benefit Waugh School District programs. General admission tickets are $65 per person, a Fisherman Table for eight is $700 and a crab feed “survival kit” is $40.

Rohnert Park:

Jan. 26: Rancho Cotate HS Athletic Boosters' Crab Feed. The school athletic program's largest fundraiser of the year will include a no-host bar and pasta, salad and bread served by Rancho Cotate athletes. A DJ will supply the music as attendees dine on crab dinners and participate in raffles and auctions from 5-10:30 p.m.

Feb. 16: Chamber Of Commerce 'Hot' Crab Feed Fundraiser. Located in the Rohnert Park Community Center and beginning at 5 p.m., attendees can feast on unlimited crab and Mary's Pizza Shack pasta, salad and bread. The event will also feature a mystery wine sale and numerous raffles. Tickets are $60 until Jan. 25, after which will be $70, and $75 at the door.

Santa Rosa:

Feb. 2: Great Sonoma Crab & Wine Fest. For its 30th annual crab feed, the Sonoma County Farm Bureau will host its dinner and auctions at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds starting at 4 p.m. Gourmet meals prepared by local chefs will be paired with award-winning wines. Individual tickets are $85 and proceeds will benefit various agricultural education activities and scholarships.

Feb. 9: 16th Annual Crab Feed for Kids. Despite its name, this crab feed is a 21 and over event hosted by The Active 20-30 Club of the Redwood Empire #1029 to benefit Children's Charities of Sonoma County. Tickets are now sold out, but those who already purchased tickets will enjoy all-you-can-eat crab, cocktails, entertainment, and live and silent auctions in the Friedman Events Center at 5 p.m.

Sebastopol:

Feb. 2: Forestry Crab Feed 2019. Located in Sebastopol Holy Ghost Hall, this crab feast will feature dancing, a raffle and a silent auction starting at 5 p.m. Tickets are $65 and proceeds will benefit Cal Fire employees and their families.

Sonoma:

Jan. 26: Gloria Ferrer Wines Winter Crab Feed. This sold-out event, located within Gloria Ferrer's wine caves, will feature a crab boil and award-winning wine, from 6:30-9:30 p.m.

Feb. 2: Sonoma Valley High School Boosters Crab Feed. SVHS will host this crab feed and auction in the Sonoma Veteran's Memorial Hall starting at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $65 for standard seating and $85 for VIP seating.

Windsor:

Feb. 9: Windsor Wrestling Surf or Turf Fundraiser. For $55, one can choose from all-you-can-eat crab or prime rib, along with unlimited clam chowder, salad and French bread. The event begins at 5:30 p.m. in Huerta Gymnasium. All proceeds will go to the Windsor Wrestling program for children.

Feb. 16: Boys & Girls Club of Central Sonoma County 2019 Crab Feed. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Sonoma County will host its second crab feed of the year at the Brooks Road Club and will feature an all-you-can-eat dinner, dancing and auctions. General tickets are $75 and will benefit the club's various youth programs.
