Now trending on Twitter, #DearMeTenYearsAgo gave people a reason to ponder what they’d tell their younger selves. Users offered advice on how to handle everything from bad haircuts and breakups to career changes and eating habits.

Some of the tweets were humorous, some were heartbreaking reflections about self-esteem and mental health, and many referenced bitcoin and winning lottery numbers.

Maybe you cringe looking at photos because you dyed your hair a shade of red that resembles cherry Kool-Aid. Maybe you never learned to parallel park. Or perhaps you have no regrets and would just high-five the younger version of you.

So what suggestions do you have for your younger self? Let us know in an email to onlineideas@pressdemocrat.com. Be sure to include your name and the city where you live.
