Map: Where PG&E outages were planned vs. areas currently without power

PG&E estimates that 800,000 customers in Northern and Central California will be without power during the utility's planned power outages that began Wednesday. This map compares the areas PG&E said may be without electricity to the areas currently without power. The areas that PG&E originally considered shutting down are shown in blue, while the other colored areas show the current power outages.
