Temperatures across Sonoma County are expected to climb heading into Memorial Day weekend, according to the National Weather Service.
High temperatures in Santa Rosa should reach the mid-80s by Friday and stay steady through Memorial Day, said meteorologist Steve Anderson. At the coast, top temperatures should reach the low 70s throughout the three-day weekend, he said.
The overnight lows through the weekend, both in Santa Rosa and on the coast, are expected to hit the mid-50s, Anderson said.
Mornings through the weekend will be marked with early morning fog and clouds that are expected to burn off by midday. Winds are expected to be minimal.
Temperatures today should reach the mid-70s in Santa Rosa and climb slightly higher on Thursday.
"By Friday, that's when it starts to warm up," Anderson said. "Just in time."
