Santa Rosa massage parlor stings net two suspected prostitutes

An undercover sting resulted in the arrests Wednesday of two Santa Rosa massage providers operating out of separate businesses owned by the same person, police said.

In both cases, undercover detectives were offered sexual acts in exchange for money, police said.

The massage parlors were targeted because of neighbors' complaints, Sgt. Michael Chad Heiser said.

The arrests occurred around 4 p.m. Wednesday when detectives sought massages at two Santa Rosa businesses licensed to Li Ping Huang of Santa Rosa, Heiser said.

One runs out of the former Marie Callender's restaurant building on Mendocino Avenue at Chanate Road, where police arrested Lizhen Huang Guangzhou, 35, of Santa Rosa, Heiser said.

The other occurred at a converted home on Morgan Street, just north of College Avenue, where Haiying Wang, 34, of Santa Rosa was arrested, police said.

Both were arrested on suspicion of prostitution, a misdemeanor. They were cited and released, Heiser said.
